Annual Meeting of the American Society for Thoracic Surgery in Toronto 2024
From April 27 – 30, Prof. Kocher was at the American Congress of the Society for Thoracic Surgery in Toronto to talk about the further development of daVinci robotic surgery in the field of thoracic surgery, in particular about so-called extended resections such as the technique of minimally invasive robot-assisted surgery for the treatment of Pancoast tumors of the lung. (Lung tumor with ingrowth into the upper ribs and compression of the nerves and vessels to the corresponding arm)
